Matisse!



Οι Matisse δημιουργήθηκαν το 1999 στην Αθήνα και αποτελούνται από τους Άρη Σιαφά (φωνή), Γιάννη Μασσούρα (μπάσο,φωνή), Γρηγόρη Κόλλια (κιθάρα), Πέτρο Τσώλη (drums), Κώστα Συνοδινό (πλήκτρα, πιάνο) και Βασίλη Ζερβό(κιθάρα).
Με κοινό στοιχείο την αγάπη τους για την εναλλακτική βρετανική και αμερικανική σκηνή άρχισαν να γράφουν τα πρώτα τους κομμάτια και να κάνουν τα πρώτα τους live στο An Club. Οι ζωντανές εμφανίσεις τους συνεχίστηκαν δυναμικά σε χώρους όπως το Club Decadence, το Mad Club, το Καφεθέατρο, το Ρόδον, το Φεστιβάλ Πάτρας, το Corto Maltese κ.α. ενώ έχουν ανοίξει τις συναυλίες των Drugstore, Reamonn, Frank & Walters, Puressence, Shed 7 και Raining Pleasure.



Το καλοκαίρι του 2005 οι Matisse ήταν το group που άνοιξε την πρώτη μέρα του Rockwave Festival για τους Garbage και τον Marilyn Manson.

Τον χειμώνα του 2002 άρχισαν να ηχογραφούν τα πρώτα τους κομμάτια. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν το ep ‘4’ που κυκλοφόρησε το καλοκαίρι του 2003 από την Sony Music και απέσπασε πολύ καλές κριτικές.
