Enigma (New Age, Electronic)

Enigma είναι το όνομα ενός μουσικού σχήματος που ξεκίνησε το 1990 ο Μισέλ Κρετού με τη συνεργασία και διάφορων άλλων καλλιτεχνών όπως η σύζυγός του Σάντρα, ο Ντέιβιντ Φέρσταϊν και ο Φρανκ Πέτερσον. Ουσιαστικά δεν πρόκειται για συγκρότημα με τη στενή έννοια του όρου αλλά για μια σειρά μουσικών έργων του Μισέλ Κρετού στα οποία συνεισφέρουν διάφοροι μουσικοί κάθε φορά. Ο Κρετού είναι ο συνθέτης και παραγωγός, ενώ συνήθως η Σάντρα συνεισφέρει στα φωνητικά μαζί με τον σύζυγό της.

Μέχρι τώρα έχουν κυκλοφορήσει 6 στούντιο άλμπουμς υπό τον τίτλο "Enigma". Η μουσική των Enigma παρουσίασε από την αρχή τεράστια επιτυχία σε όλο τον κόσμο με το χαρακτηριστικό "περίεργο" ήχο της που χαρακτηρίζεται σαν New Age, Ambient με στοιχεία και ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής.
